Intramural Soccer Registration Terms and Conditions |

DIRECTIONS: Read the information below. At the bottom of the page, check
the check box and then click on submit.
Registration Deadlines:
Fall Season, June 30th
Spring Season, January 31st
Any forms or payments postmarked after the season deadline will be considered late and
subject to a $30 late fee. No special requests for teams, coaches or carpools will
be honored on late forms.
Intramural Costs:
Postmarked on or before the deadline: the cost is $90/child.
Postmarked after the deadline: the cost is $120/child.
Family Surcharge:
Once per GCVSA fiscal year, a family surcharge of $25 per family must be paid. The GCVA fiscal
year begins with fall soccer and ends after spring soccer.
Processing Registrations:
GCVSA will not process your registration until a complete form and proper payment has been received.
If the balance of payment arrives after the deadline, the registration is considered late. Please
complete the forms properly, legibly and calculate your payment carefully. Help us help you by
double-checking your child’s information so she/he will be placed on the right team.
Communication by Email
More and more, coaches are communicating team news
via email. Please write your email address clearly and legibly on the form so that it is correctly given
to the coach. Give us an address that you will check regularly.
Waiting Lists:
Spring registrations received after March 10 or Fall registrations received after August 10th
will be put on a waiting list. Please note that the GCVSA will try to place every late
registration on a team but we cannot guarantee placement. If your child is not placed on a team,
you will receive a refund less a $25.00 administration fee. This refund will not be mailed until
the second week of the season.
Refunds:
Refunds will be issued for medical purposes only. No other refund requests will be considered.
The medical occurrence must have happened before
the first game is played at the start of the season. Requests must be made in writing and accompanied
by a physician's statement. A $25 processing fee will be assessed on the registration fee.
COACHES:
We always need coaches so please consider volunteering. Soccer experience is not required
– our only requirement is that you care about your child. We must have head coaches before
we can form teams. Therefore please volunteer to be a head coach. All communication to our
coaches is done through e-mail, please give us a correct e-mail address and check on a regular basis.
